Oatmeal For Mac
By now, you must have realized that I love a to-go breakfast. Between our and our and our, well, it’s kind of my thing. Since it’s wintertime now I’ve transitioned into my favorite seasonal breakfast Oatmeal To-Go. This recipe is super simple and easy to customize and make it your own.
Start out with a healthy meal and you’ll be much more likely to maintain your diet all day. Start by making a big batch of oatmeal.
You can make it anywhere you like, whether with milk or water. The goal is to make a big potful and then to separate it into small containers. I make mine with unsweetened almond milk, lots of cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Cook on the stovetop until soft and tender.
Apple Walnut Oatmeal. Steel-cut oatmeal topped with choice of currants, cranberries, brown sugar, walnuts. Bacon Mac & Three Cheese (690 - 1230 cal). Here's what you need: rolled oats, almond milk, salt, peanut butter, banana, cinnamon. Peanut Butter Oatmeal. 5-Ingredient Cauliflower Mac 'N' Cheese.
Do not over-stir or over-mix your oatmeal, as that will result in mushy oatmeal. I like to keep the oatmeal on the dryer side, as I’ll add a splash more milk when I go to reheat each portion.

Allow the oatmeal to cool slightly and then transfer to small plastic containers with lids. This will make it easier to just grab and go every morning. You can jazz up each individual oatmeal to go so that you don’t get bored of the flavors. Sprinkle different nuts, dried fruit, brown sugar, fresh berries, coconut, or anything else you can think of. Cover each one tightly with the lid and then store in the fridge for each morning of the week. To reheat, simply pop one into a microwave with a splash of almond milk to loosen it up a bit.

Oatmeal For Acid Reflux
I make homemade versions all the time, but I also love the boxed variety! It is my, as you know. I like the basic, traditional versions of this classic comfort food, but I am also not afraid of getting a little adventurous with it. I fact I’m not afraid to get a little adventurous when it comes to ALL my food. I like savory, and don’t get me started on baking with. But sometimes, even some foods shock me! Take for example.
You all know I am a fan of they are great for quick snacks in between my meals and SO yummy. My favorite is the Tuscan Bean & Kale one! I had yet to try their yet, however. When I saw that they had a Homestyle Cheddar version (AKA mac n’ cheese, basically!), I had to try it!
But knowing me and my penchant for creativity in the kitchen, I wasn’t just going to prepare them as the directions said. Instead I decided to make SAVORY steel-cut oat bars.mac and cheese flavor!

Never anything like this, though. The bars would be naturally gluten-free since are certified GF, but I also wanted to make them high in protein and low in fat if possible. Who says mac and cheese can’t be satisfying AND healthy!? 3.5.3226 Soft, chewy, and SO CHEESY.
These bars allow you to have mac and cheese ON THE GO. How awesome is that!? They are high in protein from the egg whites, full of calcium and vitamin D, and deliciously easy to make for quick snacks or savory breakfasts. They’d even be fun to take to! Someone usually brings mac and cheese anyways, so why not bring mac and cheese bars?
Easier to serve AND eat. Also has three other Meal Kit flavors: Madras Curry, Jambalaya, and Tomato Risotto.
I feel like ANY of them could be swapped in for the Homestyle Cheddar in this recipe and make for a totally delicious savory baked oatmeal. Hmmm, maybe I’ll have to experiment with the other flavors soon! I’ll let you know how it goes. П™‚ Savory oatmeal is a thing now, right? People are mixing in and topping their oats with all sorts of crazy savory ingredients.
So these Mac and Cheese Baked Oatmeal bars aren’t too out there! And like I said, they taste AMAZING.
